The Matrix
The contemporary is inherently elusive. Anchored in the present, already no longer yesterday, but not yet tomorrow, it requires perpetual renewal.
This is the challenge of the contemporary PHI. The creation of an “evolving matrix” – flexible and contextual – supports the formation of a unified architecture, respectful of heritage and timeless, yet versatile enough to unfold through time and over the course of programs, days, seasons. Thus emerges an architecture whose uses are renewed through the genesis of potentials, paths and experiences, allowing us to live the contemporary: offering inclusive, incipient, and resilient spaces. Places of debate and experimentation, to consider and question society and, ultimately, eliminate boundaries between art and the public.
